Intuitive in Mexicali is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the execution of all operational accounting and financial reporting activities, ensuring GAAP compliance and strong internal controls across monthly and quarterly closes.

You will collaborate with Corporate Accounting and global FP&A partners, identify process improvements, document SOPs, analyze results and variances, and drive cost-efficiency initiatives while aligning with leadership priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Manage monthly and quarterly close processes for operational accounting and controls; collaborate with corporate accounting and FP&A.
• Identify and implement process improvements using best practices, standardization, and automation.
• Document all operational accounting processes with SOPs and desktop procedures.
• Analyze results, monitor variances, identify trends, and recommend actions to management.
• Develop and report key financial metrics to monitor performance against plan.
• Identify opportunities and risks within financial models.
• Lead or support transversal projects on process improvement, reporting tools, and cost efficiency.
• Prioritize requests to meet stakeholder expectations.
• Coordinate data and reporting for internal accounting reviews.
• Support finance leadership projects and initiatives.

Job Description

Primary Function of Position:

Financial analysts are responsible for providing analytical support. In this position you will support the execution of all operational accounting and financial reporting activities; partnering with Corporate Accounting to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies and procedures to minimize and/or eliminate control deficiencies

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for monthly and quarterly close processes as it relates to operational accounting procedures and ensuring internal controls are met; work cross-functionally with corporate accounting and global operations FP&A partners.
• Identify and execute process improvements by leveraging best practices, standardization, and automation to scale routine activities while maximizing effectiveness
• Build out consistent and complete documentation of all operational accounting processes, including SOPs and desktop procedures
• Analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.
• Monitor performance relative to plan, by developing and reporting key financial metrics.
• Identify key opportunities and risks within financial models.
• Lead / support key transversal projects around general process improvement, reporting tools and cost efficiency.
• Prioritize requests to establish and deliver upon stakeholder expectations.
• Coordinate data and reporting required for internal accounting reviews.
• Support projects and key initiatives as determined with finance leadership.
