Kia Mexico is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, strict controls, and profitable performance. You will partner with cross-functional teams to drive strategic decision-making and continuous process improvements.

As a senior leader, you will manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow, while mentoring the finance team to uphold high standards of accuracy and integrity in financial stewardship across the organization.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years in Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Audit, or related areas.
• Experience leading teams and managing financial operations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings with accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor performance against the approved Business Plan and budget.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and executive presentations.
• Ensure IFRS compliance, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and authorities.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets and forecasts.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiency.
• Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to business units.
• Manage cash flow planning and financial risk oversight.
• Lead, mentor, and grow the finance team.

Overview of the Position

The Finance Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with internal and external regulations, effective budget control, and business profitability. This position partners closely with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making, strengthen financial controls, and drive continuous process improvements across the organization.

Typical Tasks

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
• Monitor and analyze company financial performance against the approved Business Plan and budget.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and executive presentations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, K-SOX requirements, and corporate policies.
• Coordinate audits and serve as the primary contact for external auditors and regulatory authorities.
• Develop, manage, and control departmental budgets and financial forecasts.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and operational efficiency.
• Support business units by providing financial analysis and strategic recommendations.
• Manage cash flow planning and monitor financial risks.
• Lead, develop, and mentor the finance team to achieve operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Financial Planning, Audit, or related areas.
• Previous experience leading teams and managing financial operations.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Experience working with external auditors and regulatory requirements.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.
• MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification is a plus.
