Job summary

PHINIA Inc. is seeking a Finance professional to ensure timely and accurate closing and reporting within the unit and division. The role focuses on delivering information to other departments and ensuring divisional requirements are met with strict internal controls.

Ideal candidates have a Finance degree or public accounting background, 5 years in the position, and fluent English. SAP experience is required as part of daily duties and SOX compliance is essential.

• Coordinate preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Ensure forecasts are logical and consider all financial factors.
• Safeguard and protect company assets.

JOB PURPOSE

Ensure that all processes within the Finance department are executed in a timely and proper manner, in accordance with the requirements of the Reporting Unit (RU) and the Division,and proactively identify any issues that could jeopardize the company’s financial and legal outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete financial closing and reporting processes within the timeframes defined by the Reporting Unit (RU) and the Division.
• Provide information from your functional area to departments outside the plant.
• Ensure that divisional requirements are met in a timely and proper manner.
• Comply with the rules established by internal control and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) requirements.
• Coordinate the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Ensure that forecasts are logical and that all relevant financial considerations are taken into account.
• Safeguard and protect company assets.
• Finance Degree or Public Accountant.
• 5 years in the position.
• knowledge and use of SAP.
• Fluent English is essential.
