Collins Aerospace in Mexicali is seeking a Finance/Accounting intern to support financial reporting, fixed assets, and internal controls. You’ll gain hands-on experience with BI tools, analytics, and process automation while collaborating across teams in a global aerospace setting.

The role emphasizes data-driven improvements, exposure to SAP/ERP, and development of practical finance skills in a structured onsite program. English proficiency (B2+) is required.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in a Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related degree program, currently in the 7th or 8th semester.
• Experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and basic formulas).
• Academic or project experience in data analysis or financial analysis is preferred.
• Experience with Power Query, SQL, or reporting automation tools is a plus.
• Experience using SAP or another ERP system is desirable.
• Experience using Power BI is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, analyze, and monitor financial reports, identifying trends and opportunities to improve information quality.
• Participate in Fixed Assets Inventory and support internal controls documentation.
• Assist in reporting automation initiatives using BI and data analytics to drive efficiency.
• Analyze financial processes to identify simplifications and automation opportunities with cross-team collaboration.
• Schedule availability: 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

What You Will Do

• Financial Analysis & Reporting: Support the preparation, analysis, and monitoring of financial reports, using data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities, while contributing to improving the visibility and quality of financial information.
• Fixed Assets & Internal Controls: Participate in the Fixed Assets Inventory project by collecting, validating, and analyzing information, as well as supporting activities related to the assessment and documentation of internal controls.
• Reporting Automation & Business Intelligence: Support reporting automation initiatives to improve process efficiency, using Business Intelligence and Data Analytics tools to transform data into valuable information for the business.
• Process Improvement: Analyze financial processes to identify opportunities for simplification, optimization, and automation, collaborating with different teams in the development and implementation of improvements.
• Schedule Availability: Availability to work from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
