Job summary

Flex is seeking a Director Finance to lead and develop the finance team in Guadalajara North, reporting to the Sr Director Finance. The role focuses on accurate data compilation, analysis and reporting, and implementing policies to ensure compliance with corporate and legislative requirements.

You will oversee quarterly and year-end reporting, drive operational objectives, and mentor staff while staying ahead of industry trends to enhance the company’s value.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Demonstrated finance leadership in the metal-mechanics industry, including budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, inventory management, and strategic decision-making in manufacturing operations.
• CPA/CFP/CMA/CA/CGA or APICS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage quarterly financial reporting package for leadership review.
• Establish operational objectives and assignments.
• Develop and establish financial reporting requirements.
• Support external auditors in their examination of quarterly and year-end financial statements.
• Ensure monthly informative account analysis and reconciliations are performed.
• Coach and mentor financial professionals in organization.
• Be abreast of industry trends and apply to business model as appropriate.
• Analyze market practice to benchmark current systems and controls to verify systems and process integrity in order to enhance the Company’s value.
