Paylocity is seeking a Finance Controller for Mexico to oversee core accounting, close, and compliance. You will partner with US teams, drive intercompany and VAT processes, and ensure robust internal controls in a fast-growing SaaS company.

Lead a Mexico accounting team, implement process improvements, and coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants. Fluency in English and Spanish is required; CPC certification is preferred. This is a full-time on-site role based in Mexico.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting/Finance.
• Contador Publico Certificado required.
• 7+ years in accounting; SaaS or public company a plus.
• 3+ years of team leadership experience.
• Experience with Mexican GAAP and US parent company a plus.
• Proficient in NetSuite and multi-book a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills; strong analytics.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Responsabilidades

• Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations.
• Lead accounting team and Mexico-specific processes (VAT, intercompany).
• Coordinate vendor bills and employee expenses to GL.
• Manage local compliance, banking, payroll, and tax relations.
• Partner with Legal and HR on corporate matters.
• Ensure Mexico statutory reporting and internal controls.
• Support US accounting and cross-border projects.
• Assist with SEC reporting information for parent company.
• Drive process improvements and automation in finance.
• Lead system implementations and cross-functional projects.
