Job summary

Farmers Insurance is seeking a Financial Analyst II to support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business analysis for the Claims Finance & Vendor Management group. You will partner with leaders to deliver data-driven insights and monitor KPIs for strategic decisions.

The role involves preparing financial reports, budgets, and models while identifying trends, risks and opportunities. Strong SQL, database management, and BI skills are encouraged for process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or related field preferred.
• Six Sigma Yellow Belt is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years in FP&A, accounting, or related finance roles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports including variance analyses.
• Develop KPI reporting to support decision-making.
• Support annual operating plan, strategic planning, and forecasting processes.
• Create and update financial models to evaluate performance.
• Track and report financials for special projects and cost-saving opportunities.
• Conduct vendor financial assessments and support vendor reporting.
• Review capital proposals through financial evaluation and business cases.
• Produce ad hoc analyses, reports and presentations for leadership.
