POSITION SCOPE

- Works closely with customers to identify market opportunities through development and commercialization of new applications on SCIEX systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accompany Sales Representatives on customer visits to provide technical and applications expertise.
- Perform product demonstrations in the field.
- Support conditional sales placements through on‑site visits and telephone communication.
- Deliver start‑up applications training to customers and demonstrate proper operating procedures with SCIEX instrumentation.
- Prepare and present seminars to customers, prospects, and SCIEX employees as requested.
- Provide technical training to Sales Representatives and collaborate on technical selling strategies.
- Represent SCIEX at trade shows and user meetings; present products and gather market information.
- Complete administrative duties (e.g., RSD usage, expense reports).
- Attend technical training and scientific meetings to stay informed on new trends, products, and discoveries.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree or above in Mass Spectrometry, Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or equivalent experience.
- Strong technical knowledge and significant laboratory/scientific background in analytical chemistry using LC/MS/MS (e.g., 3–5 years of lab experience or PhD with 1–2 years post‑doc work).
- Previous operation of LC/MS systems or related instrumentation highly desirable.
- In‑depth industry knowledge and understanding of customer business, applications, and needs.
- Experience presenting technical materials in written and verbal form.
- Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication skills for articulating technical and product information to internal and external customers.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, appointments, schedules, and coordination with Sales and Support personnel.
