Qualifications

• Pharm.D. degree from a recognized institution.
• Current and active pharmacy license in Guerrero, MX.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive pharmacy experience; at least 3 in supervision.
• Experience in hospital or retail pharmacy management, preferably as shift lead.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards.

About the Role

Our client, a prominent healthcare provider located in the scenic city of Acapulco , Guerrero, is actively seeking a highly competent and experienced Chief Pharmacy Shift Pharmacist. This role is essential for ensuring the seamless and safe operation of our pharmacy services, particularly during peak operational hours. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all pharmacy activities during their assigned shift, including medication dispensing, inventory management, and regulatory compliance. This position demands exceptional leadership, meticulous attention to detail, and a profound understanding of pharmaceutical best practices. You will play a critical role in leading a team of dedicated pharmacy professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and efficient service in a demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage pharmacy operations during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to all established protocols and standards.
• Oversee the accurate and timely dispensing of medications, including verification of prescriptions and proper labeling.
• Manage pharmaceutical inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock of medications and supplies while minimizing waste and expired products.
• Ensure strict compliance with all relevant pharmaceutical laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Current and active pharmacy license in Guerrero , MX.
• A minimum of 6 years of progressive pharmacy experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
• Proven experience in hospital or retail pharmacy management, preferably in a shift lead role.
• Demonstrated expertise in medication dispensing, pharmacotherapy, and drug information.
