The Nanjing University School of Biomedical Engineering, founded in December 2025, is a dynamic new institution established to create a world‑class hub at the intersection of life sciences, engineering, and clinical medicine. The School of Biomedical Engineering invites applications for full‑time tenure‑track or tenured faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor levels. Outstanding candidates in all areas of Biomedical Engineering are encouraged to apply, with strategic interest in:

Qualifications

Candidates should have a PhD degree in related fields and have a passion for teaching and research. A strong track record in independent research, teaching, student supervision, and service is highly desirable. A clearly defined and distinctive research vision, supported by notable academic achievements, is essential.

• For the Assistant Professor (tenure‑track) level, candidates are typically expected to have completed at least three years of postdoctoral training or equivalent industry research experience. Exceptional recent PhD graduates with a demonstrated record of outstanding achievement may also be considered.
• For Associate and Full Professor positions, candidates must possess a distinguished, sustained record of scholarly excellence and significant impact in their field. Candidates are expected to hold an equivalent position at a world‑class university or research institute.
