Jabil in Mexico is seeking a Facilities Purchasing Coordinator to process facility work requests and purchase materials required to complete work orders. You will coordinate preventive maintenance, manage vendor relationships, and ensure accurate documentation and cost tracking.

The role involves coordinating with the Facilities Support Team, handling supplier inquiries, and supporting accounts payable with invoice discrepancies. Strong PC skills and clear communication are essential.

Formación

• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to present information to managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to operate a PC including Windows-based software.
• Advanced PC skills and knowledge of company software packages.
• Ability to write simple correspondence. Read and understand visual aids.
• Ability to apply basic math and interpret measurements.

Responsabilidades

• Process facility work requests and assign them to Facilities Support Team members.
• Coordinate maintenance work requests including preventive maintenance and documentation.
• Quote components and services for the Facilities department and purchase materials.
• Purchase supplies via purchase orders and company cards to support operations.
• Optimize order management to improve supplier communication.
• Monitor supplier delivery and quality performance and address issues.
• Support Accounts Payable in invoice discrepancies and vendor setup.
• Track labor and material costs for department personnel and contractors.
• Maintain Facilities Maintenance Management software and vendor records.
• Act as the point of contact for vendors and ensure compliance with policies.
