Placements24 is recruiting an experienced Especialista en Inclusión y Apoyo Educativo to foster inclusive learning in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas. You will develop and adapt educational materials, provide one-on-one support, and collaborate with staff to ensure personalized attention for students with diverse needs.

The role requires a Master's in Special Education with at least 3 years in school settings, strong knowledge of disabilities, and a passion for equity in education.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a school setting.
• Strong knowledge of various disabilities and learning differences.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing IEPs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess the learning needs of students with special educational requirements through observation and evaluation.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and support strategies with teachers and parents.
• Provide direct academic and behavioral support to students in one-on-one or small group settings.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt curriculum and provide accommodations.
• Facilitate inclusion of students with special needs into mainstream classrooms.
• Train and support teachers in inclusive practices and strategies for diverse learners.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and challenges.
• Maintain confidential records of assessments, progress, and intervention plans.
• Serve as a resource on special education practices and current research.
• Stay current with policies and best practices in inclusive education.
