Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• 5+ years of experience maintaining heavy-duty diesel engines and/or buses.
• Valid California Class B CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements; Class A a plus.

Aufgaben

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and HVAC systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and safety audits.
• Ensure compliance with state inspections (DOT/CHP) and safety standards; address defects promptly.
• Provide roadside assistance for breakdowns and arrange towing if needed.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
• Keep shop clean, organized, and in compliance with OSHA standards.
