EDAG Mexico is seeking a HIL Testing Engineer to validate, integrate and feasibly launch electric/electronic components and functions across pre-series and production. You will lead testing activities, document results, and collaborate with global partners.

You will install and configure measurement equipment, conduct road or climatic chamber tests, and prepare English or German-language reports as required. This role requires strong instrumentation and data analysis skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in automotive/mechanical/mechatronic/electrical/electronic engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in automotive with measurement techniques and data acquisition.
• 3+ years with measurement equipment and data logging systems.
• Experience instrumenting vehicles; knowledge of CAN, LIN, Ethernet.
• Fluent English; German desirable.
• Contract length: 18 months.

Responsabilidades

• Manage validation, integration and feasibility of launches for electric/electronic components and new functions, and drive continuous improvement in production.
• Lead root cause analysis of pre-series and production vehicles, including dynamic and static tests.
• Document defects and resolutions from root cause analyses and present findings.
• Innovate with new methods for validation and testing; establish best practices with global partners.
• Develop and provide testing plans according to launch phase; execute tests as hardware/software evolves.
• Represent the department within global operations teams from different plants.
• Evaluate supplier/developer solutions from prototype to final, verify design changes in software and hardware.
• Collaborate with internal partners to ensure production of new products or engineering changes according to quality requirements.
• Provide technical orientation on electric/electronic engineering knowledge.
• Install sensors (microphones, accelerometers, displacement, speed, wind, rotation, temperature) per measurement needs; configure equipment.
• Test drive vehicles on specified roads or climatic chambers; disassemble equipment afterward.
• Analyze data and prepare reports in English or German according to standards.
• Install and configure measurement equipment and data acquisition for proper test setup and market contact.
