SmartRecruiters, Inc. is seeking a bilingual ETL developer with strong communication skills to join the data engineering team.

The role emphasizes IBM Infosphere Datastage expertise (8.1-9.1), strong SQL and Unix proficiency, and solid RDBMS knowledge across DB2, Oracle, or Netezza. The ideal candidate has multiple years in ETL and data warehousing, familiarity with BigData tools, and comfort working in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• IBM Infosphere Datastage 8.1-9.1 experience is mandatory.
• Excellent SQL and Unix skills are required.
• RDBMS knowledge with DB2, Oracle, or Netezza (at least one) is required.
• Experience with Datastage 9.1 and parallel framework.
• Agile methodologies experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Minimum 3 years IT experience, with at least 2 years in IBM Infosphere Datastage.
• At least 1 year in Parallel framework and six months in Datastage 9.1.
• Understand dimensional modelling concepts.
• Provide working knowledge of databases such as DB2, Oracle, or Netezza.
• Exhibit strong SQL and Unix skills.
• Experience with BMC Control-M scheduler is a plus.
• Familiarity with at least one reporting tool is preferable.

• Minimum 3 years of overall IT experience of which at least 2 years with IBM Infosphere Datastage.
• Should have at least 1 years’ experience in Parallel framework and should have worked at least six months in Datastage 9.1
• Good understanding of dimensional modelling concepts
• Should have working knowledge in any of the following Databases – DB2, Oracle, Netezza.
• Excellent SQL and Unix skills
• Experience in BMC Control-M scheduler will be a plus.
• Understanding of at least one of the popular reporting tool is preferable
• Experience in agile methodologies is desirable.
• Should be self driven and be able to work in project with minimal or no assistance.
