Placements24 is seeking an experienced Ejecutivo de Tráfico y Transporte Terrestre to plan, execute and monitor road freight operations remotely across Mexico. You will optimize routes, negotiate with carriers and ensure on-time, cost-efficient deliveries from your home office.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in traffic management, solid knowledge of Mexican regulations, proficiency with TMS, and strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years in traffic management or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican regulations and geography.
• Experience negotiating with carriers and managing rates.
• Proficiency with TMS and related software.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule all domestic freight movements via road to meet timelines.
• Select and negotiate rates with carriers to secure cost-effective service.
• Track shipments in real-time and provide proactive updates.
• Optimize routes and modes to minimize costs and transit times.
• Ensure shipments comply with regulations, permits, and docs.
• Analyze costs and performance data for improvements and savings.
• Manage claims with carriers and insurers to resolve issues.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
