Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Specialist in Prefabrication and Erection of Structures to join a fully remote team. You will oversee off-site fabrication processes for steel and concrete elements and coordinate with design, fabrication, and construction partners across Mexico.

The role emphasizes optimization of prefabrication designs, sequencing, and quality control, with the flexibility of remote work while contributing to large-scale national and international projects.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of structural engineering experience with focus on prefabrication and site assembly.
• Deep knowledge of off-site construction methods for steel and concrete structures.
• Experience with site logistics planning and erection sequencing.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro).
• Strong communication and remote collaboration skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise on prefabrication and assembly of structural components.
• Collaborate with design teams to optimize structures for off-site manufacturing.
• Develop detailed assembly plans and sequences for prefabricated elements.
• Coordinate with fabrication facilities to ensure quality control and production timelines.
• Plan and manage site logistics for delivery and erection of prefabricated components.
• Oversee the on-site installation process, ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to prefabrication and assembly.
• Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, and engineers to ensure project success.
• Contribute to the development of standards and best practices for prefabrication.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for prefabricated solutions.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
