Placements24 busca un Especialista en Estructuras de Aeronaves para nuestro cliente líder en aviación, en Torreón, Coahuila. Se encarga de inspección, reparación y modificación de componentes estructurales metálicos y compuestos, manteniendo la aeronavegabilidad y la integridad estructural.

Se exige experiencia mínima de 5 años, lectura de planos, interpretación de manuales y buenas habilidades de diagnóstico. Es un rol híbrido con trabajo en sitio y planificación/remoto para reportes y análisis.

Qualifications

• Experiencia mínima de 5 años en reparación y mantenimiento de estructuras aeronáuticas.
• Capacidad para leer e interpretar planos, dibujos y manuales de reparación.
• Conocimiento de estructuras metálicas y compuestas y de normas de aeronavegabilidad.
• Habilidad para diagnóstico y atención a la seguridad y calidad.
• Trabajo en equipo e capacidad de trabajar de forma independiente.

Responsibilities

• Inspeccionar airframes y componentes estructurales para identificar daños, corrosión o fatiga.
• Realizar reparaciones y modificaciones en estructuras metálicas y compuestas.
• Fabricar, ajustar e instalar componentes estructurales con herramientas de precisión.
• Interpretar planos, blueprint, informes de esfuerzos e especificaciones.
• Realizar pruebas no destructivas o colaborar con técnicos NDT.
• Documentar reparaciones e inspecciones en los registros de mantenimiento.
• Cumplir regulaciones aeronáuticas y estándares de calidad.
• Colaborar con ingenieros para soluciones de reparación y mejoras.
• Mantener un entorno de trabajo seguro y limpio.
• Formar y orientar a técnicos junior.

About the Role

Our client, a key player in the aviation manufacturing and MRO sector, is seeking a skilled Especialista en Estructuras de Aeronaves to join their dedicated team in Torreón, Coahuila . This role is responsible for the inspection, repair, and modification of aircraft structural components. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of metallic and composite structures, fabrication techniques, and structural repair manuals. This hybrid position allows for focused on-site work for hands‑on tasks and remote flexibility for planning, reporting, and analysis, promoting efficiency and a modern work‑life balance. You will contribute to maintaining the airworthiness and structural integrity of aircraft operated by premier clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections of aircraft airframes and structural components to identify damage, corrosion, or fatigue.
• Perform repairs and modifications to metallic and composite structures in accordance with approved repair schemes and structural repair manuals.
• Fabricate, fit, and install structural components using precision tools and equipment.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, stress analysis reports, and repair specifications.
• Perform non‑destructive testing (NDT) as required, or collaborate with NDT technicians.
• Document all structural repairs, modifications, and inspections accurately in maintenance logs and reports.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable aviation regulations, manufacturer's specifications, and company quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to develop repair solutions and process improvements.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all safety procedures and regulations.
• Train and mentor junior technicians on structural repair techniques and best practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in aircraft structures or a related field is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft structural repair and maintenance.
• Proven experience working with both metallic (aluminum, steel) and composite (carbon fiber, fiberglass) aircraft structures.
• Strong ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and structural repair manuals.
• Proficiency with relevant tools and equipment for metal and composite fabrication and repair.
• Understanding of aviation regulations and airworthiness directives related to structures.
• Excellent diagnostic, problem‑solving, and manual dexterity skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Effective communication skills in Spanish.
• Flexibility to work required hours, including occasional overtime, and adapt to a hybrid work schedule.
