Job summary

Terex Corporation is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician in Monterrey to perform pre-delivery inspections, install optional accessories, and ensure safe handling and packaging of machines. You will record statuses in the ERP system and adhere to Terex safety and quality standards.

The role requires 1–3 years in a similar role or equipment maintenance, forklift certification, and proficiency with Genie products and Microsoft Office. On-site work with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1–3 years of experience in a similar role or equipment maintenance.
• Forklift certification.
• Possession of a basic set of mechanical tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new machines, follow established standards and replace defective components.
• Install and remove optional accessories as specified by customers or dealers.
• Clean and wash machines.
• Safely load and unload machines, ensuring proper packaging and handling.
• Record machine status and related information in the ERP system, including invoices and other documents.
• Operate tools and equipment safely within the PDI facility.
• Maintain tools and materials in good condition and use proper PPE.
• Immediately report safety concerns to management.
• Comply with policies on quality, environment, health and safety, and labor regulations.
