Flex in Guadalajara North is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance team, oversee preventative programs, and ensure equipment availability to meet production goals.

Reporting to the Equipment Maintenance Manager, you will coordinate with engineering and operations, manage budgets, and implement safety standards in a multimillion-dollar manufacturing environment in Guadalajara North.

Formación

• Advanced English is required.
• Bachelor degree is required.
• Experience coordinating maintenance with engineering and operations.

Responsabilidades

• Directs daily maintenance activities to maximize equipment use and production support.
• Establishes preventative maintenance schedules.
• Forecasts operating costs and prepares budget requests.
• Assesses material, equipment, and workforce needs for the department.
• Leads technicians in troubleshooting and maintaining manufacturing equipment.

Reporting to the Equipment Maintenance Manager, the Equipment Maintenance Manager’s role involves:

What a typical day looks like:

• Directs daily department activities to maximize equipment utilization and support production needs.

• Establishes preventative maintenance schedules.

• Forecasts operating costs of department and directs preparation of budget requests.

• Reviews and establishes material, equipment, and workforce resource requirements.

• Directs activities of personnel engaged in the troubleshooting, repairing and maintenance of manufacturing equipment to attain goals consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Advanced English.

• Bachelor Degree.

• Coordinates maintenance activities with other functional groups such as engineering and operations. Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the departmental function.

• Administer safety programs to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees.

• Generates maintenance logs and other operations metrics.
