Job summary

Ford is seeking a Supervisor to lead the development and vehicle integration of EPAS systems for the Medium SUV platform and steering gear engineering for the C-car platform. You will direct multidisciplinary teams spanning mechanical, electronics, and mechatronics to deliver safe, high‑quality steering systems on schedule and within cost targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field from an accredited institution.
• 8+ years automotive engineering experience or related field.
• Experience leading technical projects or teams.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work with global cross-functional teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of engineers for EPAS systems on the Medium SUV platform and steering gear engineering on the C-car platform.
• Manage design, development, validation, and vehicle integration of safety-critical steering systems from concept through production.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering across mechanical, electronics, and mechatronic interfaces.
• Coordinate FMEA and Functional Safety activities (ISO 26262) to support robust design and validation.
• Lead verification and validation, vehicle integration, and launch activities.
• Coach and develop engineering staff and manage resources to meet program commitments.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Finance, Manufacturing, and Quality to align execution with cost, quality, and timing.
• Present program milestones to leadership and cross-functional teams.
