Qualcomm Intl Inc., Mexico Branch Office is seeking a Network Engineer on our IT team to operate the backbone infrastructure behind one of the world’s leading semiconductor companies. From enabling enterprise LAN and Wi‑Fi to supporting data centers for cutting‑edge 5G and AI initiatives, your work will shape reliable connectivity across global campuses.

Formación

3–5 years of enterprise network operations experience.
Strong knowledge of Layer2/Layer3 protocols (STP, VLAN, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
Experience with Cisco routing and switching platforms (Catalyst/Nexus).
English communication skills for global collaboration.
On-site work in Mexico City, 5 days a week.

Responsabilidades

Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN and Wi‑Fi infrastructure across Qualcomm sites.
Perform configuration changes, firmware upgrades, and maintenance on routing and switching platforms.
Respond to network incidents, perform root cause analysis, and resolve within SLAs.
Execute standard change requests following procedures and change management.
Collaborate with India operations on handoffs and shared ticket queues.
Partner with San Diego design teams to implement approved network designs and standards.
Maintain accurate network documentation including topology diagrams and inventories.
Contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes, runbooks, and automation efforts.
