Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an English Second Language Teacher located in San Juan Bautista Tuxtepec, Oaxaca. The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging English language lessons, assessing student progress, and tailoring teaching methods to meet the varying needs of learners. Responsibilities also include preparing students for Cambridge English Qualifications or other English proficiency exams, maintaining a dynamic and interactive classroom environment, and collaborating with other faculty members to enhance the institution's curriculum and student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proficient skills in English Teaching and Teaching English as a Foreign Language
• Strong abilities in Lesson Planning and delivering structured, engaging instruction
• Experience preparing students for proficiency exams such as the KET, PET, FCE, BEC, CAE.
• A recognized certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA)
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse student populations
• Prior teaching experience, especially in international or multicultural settings, is an asset
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English Language, or related field is preferred
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
