Flex is seeking a Maintenance Technician, Plastics Operations in Aguascalientes to support equipment maintenance on conveyors and production machines. You will work with maintenance engineers to ensure machinery runs reliably and safely, including preventive maintenance and repairs.

The role requires reading blueprints and manuals, applying precise measurements, and maintaining equipment records. Travel to other Flex sites may be required.

Formación

• Knowledge of plastics operations preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maintenance manuals, and engineering sketches
• Knowledge of complex specifications, advanced mathematics and precision measuring instruments
• Experience with databases is a plus

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and isolate failure mechanisms
• Perform preventive maintenance at scheduled intervals
• Assist with installation and removal of process equipment
• Record equipment issues and maintenance activity in logs
• Support engineers in test, calibration, and repair plans
• Occasionally travel to Flex sites or vendor locations

Job summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Maintenance Technician, Plastics Operations located in Aguascalientes. Reporting to the Equipment Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician role involves Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as conveyor systems and production machines and equipment.

Electrical: Maintains and repairs manufacturing equipment to ensure it is operational.

What a typical day looks like

• Through troubleshooting, identifies machine malfunctions and isolates the failure mechanism.
• Repairs the failure mechanism in the most cost-effective manner.
• Performs preventive maintenance at specified intervals and schedules.
• Assists process technicians and engineers with the installation and removal of process equipment.
• Records times and problems in equipment logs.
• Provides daily equipment functioning activity information.
• Disassembles instruments and equipment and inspects components for defects.
• Aligns, repairs, replaces, and balances component parts and circuitry.
• Assists engineers in formulating test, calibration, repair and evaluation plans and procedures to maintain precision accuracy of measuring, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment.
• May require travel to other Flex sites or equipment vendors' locations.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team

• Has knowledge of new technologies, related with plastics operations preferably
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maintenance manuals, and engineering sketches, and use drawings
• Demonstrates basic functional and process knowledge participates in the process
• Demuestra conocimiento en especificaciones complicados, matemáticas avanzadas y una variedad de instrumentos de medición de precisión.
