Ambu seeks an industrial/ manufacturing engineering professional to support translation, testing, production-pilot transfers, installation, validation, startup, and documentation for new products in a manufacturing setting.

You will assist engineers, conduct evaluations and tests, interpret schematics and BOMs, and train production staff while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. This role is based in a manufacturing facility in Mexico.

Formación

• Bachelor or higher not required; an Associate degree in a relevant field is acceptable.
• 1–3 years of experience or equivalent knowledge in manufacturing/engineering.
• Experience in the medical device industry is preferred.
• Basic English proficiency is required to advance.

Responsabilidades

• Assist MFG Engineer in developing validation programs to reduce launch time.
• Perform walkthroughs, inspections, product evaluation and testing as needed.
• Conduct engineering tests such as GR&R, SVs, Test Method, and Criticality.
• Interpret assembly documentation including schematics, BOMs, visuals, and testing procedures.
• Provide direction and training for production associates and clerks.

A global job position with an impact. To provide engineering support for translation, testing, production-pilot, transfer, installation, validation, start up, stabilization and documentation of new products and equipment integration into manufacturing.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist MFG Engineer in developing new product validation program and assure compliance to reduce the launch time.
• Perform walkthroughs, inspections, product evaluation and testing as needed.
• Conduct Engineering test evaluations such as: GR&R, SVs, Test Method, Criticality.
• Ability to understand and utilize assembly documentation such as but not limited to the following: Schematics, BOM's, Visuals, Debug, Testing tools and procedures.
• Provide clear direction and training for production associates.
• Advice on scheduling and staffing needs.
• Provides guidance, training, and leadership to new technicians or clerks.
• Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.

Authorities

• Reject change orders through the design change system.

Education And Experience

• An Associates of Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or similar or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-3 years of experience or equivalent knowledge and skills to perform the position responsibilities.
• Experience in the medical device industry or medical field.
• Experience in GR&R, SVs, Eng. Studies, Protocols (Preferred)
• English language medium to advance.
