ICU Medical in Tijuana, Baja California, seeks an engineering professional to ensure production processes comply with quality standards and to coordinate cross-functional teams for project execution.

You will develop process flow diagrams and production layouts, update procedures, support product transfers, and participate in internal and external quality audits, requiring advanced English and 3–5 years in the medical device industry. This is a temporary 24-month assignment.

Formación

• University degree in Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in the medical device industry.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure production processes comply with quality standards.
• Manage medium- to high-impact projects and activities.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams for project execution.

• Update and revise manufacturing and product procedures as needed.
• Perform product design testing.
• Manage and participate in validation of new production lines.
• Understand and apply quality and environmental systems (ISO 13485, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001).
• Implement and manage continuous improvement tools.
• Oversee product transfers and provide support during transfers.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits.
• Request equipment repairs when necessary.
• Oversee area conditions including cleanliness, discipline, and 5S.
• Establish and maintain relationships across departments.
• Contribute to training and development of staff.

• Request equipment repairs when necessary.
• Oversee general area conditions, including cleanliness, discipline, and 5S compliance.
• Understand and apply policies and procedures related to Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 13485), Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001), Occupational Health and Safety Systems (OHSAS 18001), and any other systems required by the company.
