Signify in Camargo, Chihuahua, is seeking a Manufacturing Project Manager to develop, optimize and support manufacturing processes that enhance safety, efficiency, quality and production performance.

You will drive continuous improvement, implement digital manufacturing solutions, manage project plans with stakeholders, and lead small engineering projects within a larger program in Mexico.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited university or equivalent experience.
  • Fluent English.
  • Strong communication, organizational and human relations skills.

More about the role

We're looking for a Manufacturing Project Manager to join our Engineering Team, onsite in Camargo, Chihuahua. As a Manufacturing Project Manager, your role will be to develop, optimize, and support manufacturing processes that enhance safety, efficiency, quality, and production performance. You'll drive continuous improvement, implement digital manufacturing solutions, and support the successful launch of new products and processes. Role is responsible for formulating and executing project plans, in consultation with internal and external stakeholder. Prepares and executes comprehensive project plans meeting time, cost and quality targets. Manages stakeholders towards the successful delivery of projects. If required to organize decision meetings to proceed. Reports on the progress of the project with an agreed frequency on quality (APQP), status, time, and money. Voice of manufacturing and take care of the DfMA and DfSC aspects. Keeps abreast of technical developments in own field through literature, technical contacts, and industry competition, monitors costs of the individual projects. Collaborates effectively, contributes to best practices sharing throughout projects and promote consistent use of appropriate tools and methodology Engineering projects managers are responsible to reduce MVA (Manufacturing Value Add) in next generation and integrally support optimization of FCP (Factory Cost Price) Engineering project managers are aware of the product and process roadmaps and actively steer new projects in this direction. E.g. prepare manufacturing for connected products and automation, work towards pre-defined NPDL or other project execution processes but can improve the process with f.i. automation of own work.

This role is responsible for developing and delivering strategic manufacturing projects aligning with business needs. Majority of projects is linked to NPDL process. Role required Management of Industrialization of Projects with Outsourcing Suppliers in Mexico. Capacity and Productivity Management/Ownership in Mexico Factory; Camargo. Ownership of throughput for production levels/output and targets. Advanced Planning, organizing and execution skills, strong Business Acumen Capable of deploying advanced Project management tool, strong Influencing & Interpersonal Skills Leads small Engineering projects and manages small own project team as part of a larger project. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action. Manages regular/more routine projects, that are technically routine within an easy business environment.
