Ford México is seeking an industrialization engineer to manage the edrive power unit program for a future model vehicle. You will coordinate milestones, timing plans, and financials while supporting component and assembly releases in WERS. You will collaborate with eDrive systems and powertrain teams for testing and build coordination.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and a drive to push programs to achieve timely milestones and cost targets in a dynamic automotive environment.

Responsabilidades

  • Manage milestone cadence within GPDS parameters.
  • Lead milestone assessments and papers for on-time approvals.
  • Engage in new business proposals and business cases.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules.
  • Lead or support TPMT for responsible commodities.
  • Act as transmission lead/SPOC in Program PMT meetings.
  • Collect and enter Integrator assessments.
  • Provide Finance team support.
  • Coordinate with Team of Four groups and Purchasing to stay on track for delivery.
  • Drive FMA process to meet milestones.
  • Write DRPs and drive for approvals.
  • Manage BOM/FEDE-BOM.
  • Support WERS release.
  • eDrive power unit build coordination.

Job Description

At a high level this position is for an industrialization engineer responsible for program management of an edrive power unit program for a future model vehicle. This job includes managing milestone reviews/signoffs, developing timing plans, maintaining program financials, and supporting component/assembly releases in WERS. This position will work closely with the eDrive systems engineers, eDrive component engineers, powertrain planning, and teams from electrified powertrain engineering. This position would also cover build coordination of edrive power units for both internal testing and vehicle level testing.

  • Engage in new business proposals & business cases
  • Develop & maintain project schedules
  • Lead or support TPMT (Transmission Product Management Team) for responsible commodities
  • Act as transmission lead/SPOC in Program PMT meeting
  • Collect and enter Integrator assessments
  • Provide Finance team support

Qualifications

Essential job skills for this role include project management, leadership, analytical thinking, teamwork, organizational skills, problem solving, and attention to details.

Looking for someone motivated to lead and manage their product to success. Self-starter who ideally understands the Ford process and is able to motivate others, identify problems, identify solutions, and communicate project status to upper management.
