Hussmann is seeking an experienced engineer to design and support Hussmann Krack-branded refrigeration products, including unit coolers, condensers, and remote systems. You will create 3D models, draft components, and maintain engineering documentation to meet quality standards.

The role requires 2+ years in refrigeration components, fluency in English, and collaboration with Manufacturing and Quality teams to ensure products are built and tested per specifications.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• +2 years’ experience in mechanical refrigeration components, implementation, validations.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Design Hussmann Krack-branded refrigeration products, including unit coolers/freezers, condensing units, remote condensers, and fluid coolers.
• Create structural design, piping design, component drawings, specifications, and creation of 3D Models.
• Review and update engineering documentation, including product, parts and mechanical drawings, mechanical piping diagrams, instructions/MOAs, wiring diagrams.
• Support Manufacturing and Quality teams to ensure products are built and tested according to engineering specifications.
• Provide the Engineering definition required to update internal tools (BAAN/AutoCD/CPQ).
• Engage in continuous and personalized learning programs to broaden technical knowledge in mechanical engineering, thermodynamics, and electrical engineering.

Responsabilidades

Responsible for the design of Hussmann Krack-branded refrigeration products, including unit coolers/freezers, condensing units, remote condenser, and fluid coolers. Support NPI, sustaining, and operations-related activities to deliver quality engineering solutions that support the business objectives.

• Creation of structural design, piping design, component drawings, specifications, and creation to 3D Models.
• Review and update engineering documentation, including product, parts and mechanical drawings, mechanical piping diagrams, instructions/MOA´s, wiring diagrams.
• Support Manufacturing and Quality teams to ensure products are built and tested according to engineering specifications.
• Provide the Engineering definition required to update internal tools (BAAN/AutoCD/CPQ).
• Engage in continuous and personalized learning programs to broaden technical knowledge in mechanical engineering, thermodynamics, and electrical engineering.

Calificaciones

Requirements

• Bachelor´s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent related field.
• +2 years’ experience mechanical refrigeration components, implementation, validations and related applications.
• Must speak and write fluent English.

Must Possess The Following Skills/competencies

• Knowledge and hands on experience with using mechanical components in refrigeration or HVAC or other related industry.
• Experience in validating mechanical components, subcomponents and piping.
• Ability to draft on CAD, minimum requirements in drafting proficiency shall include the ability to create from scratch and edit existing 3D drawings.
• Experience with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Solid Edge, AutoCAD (Similar 3D CAD software).
• Experience with Bill of Material Structures and Engineering Change processes.
• Technical understanding of refrigeration system design, electrical and electronic component functionality.
• Strong logical and analytical skills.
• Teamwork, personal accountability and solution driven behaviors.
