A global leader in technology consulting is seeking an experienced engineer to lead the design and development of cutting-edge automotive software. You will manage the full lifecycle of embedded components, optimize performance, and ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 26262. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of experience in embedded software development. This is a fully remote position based in Mexico.

Are you passionate about embedded systems, Linux/Android platforms, and next-gen infotainment? We’re looking for a seasoned engineer to lead the design and development of cutting-edge automotive software.

YOUR ROLE:

You’ll drive system integration across hardware, vendor, and software teams, while optimizing performance and ensuring compliance with industry standards like ISO 26262.

• Own the full lifecycle of embedded components—from design to deployment.
• Lead integration across hardware, vendor, and software teams.
• Optimize performance and ensure compliance with ISO 26262 Automotive Functional Safety.
• Define testing strategies and drive complex debugging.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence technical direction

YOUR PROFILE

• 10+ years' experience in embedded software development (C/C++, Rust) and Python, Bash or Perl scripting.
• Deep knowledge of Android AOSP/AAOSP and Linux graphics pipelines.
• Embedded operating systems: Linux, QNX, and/or Android
• Experience with Yocto builds and test automation (TDD).
• Strong background in automotive systems, graphics, or networking.
• Agile mindset and excellent communication skills.
