Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking an Email Developer to build HTML email templates and deploy personalized campaigns for enterprise loyalty clients. The role requires 2+ years in email development, strong HTML/CSS for email, and experience with enterprise campaign platforms, preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

You will develop modular components, test across devices using Litmus or Email on Acid, and own end-to-end deployment and optimization of campaigns with data-driven personalization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in email development or campaign execution.
• HTML and CSS for email rendering across clients.
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred.
• Understanding of journey orchestration and automated campaigns.
• Familiar with campaign automation concepts: triggers, lifecycle programs, re-engagement flows.
• Knowledge of A/B and multivariate testing.
• Experience with audience segmentation and data-driven personalization.
• Attention to detail and proactive QA.
• Clear communicator and able to flag issues before builds.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain HTML/CSS email templates — ensuring accurate rendering across devices, email clients, and platforms.
• Build reusable modular components and adapt client-specific templates to campaign requirements.
• Test email rendering across clients and devices using Litmus or Email on Acid.
• Build and deploy outbound campaigns (primarily email) in hosted platforms and client campaign management systems including Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Configure journey logic, audience segmentation, targeting rules, and suppression lists per campaign specifications.
• Implement dynamic content, personalization tokens, and promotional offer logic according to strategy requirements.
• Own the final deployment step for all assigned campaigns — ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.
• Execute A/B and multivariate (MVT) test configurations according to defined test plans.
• Coordinate asset handoffs with Campaign Managers and content partners; flag dependency gaps proactively.
• Document execution best practices and maintain build standards within the Development pillar.
• Follow platform tooling standards and governance guidelines established by Campaign Management.
