Vishay Intertechnology in Mexico is seeking a Chemical Technician to support electroplating operations on-site. You will help maintain bath performance, monitor chemical concentrations, and assist with process control to ensure quality and safety in manufacturing.

The role requires a technical chemistry background, 1–2 years of related experience, and proficiency with lab instruments and MS Office. Strong teamwork and English reading skills are valued.

Formación

• Bachelor-level or technical degree in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, or related field.
• 1–2 years in a technical/chemical-processing role.
• Knowledge of volumetric analysis and lab testing practices.
• Experience with chemical solutions and process control.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
• Ability to operate lab instruments and testing devices.
• Proficient with Word/Excel.
• Basic English for technical docs.

Responsabilidades

• Support Process Engineering and Production in maintaining electroplating bath performance.
• Perform volumetric analysis to monitor chemical concentrations.
• Conduct Hull Cell tests and adjust baths for balance and performance.
• Assist preventive maintenance of electroplating tanks and equipment.
• Support evaluations for new materials and product development.
• Monitor plating thickness (Nickel, Tin, Lead) via XRF as needed.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and quality procedures.
