Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Junior Electronics Validation Engineer in Mexico to support the analysis, validation and evaluation of alternative electronic components as part of our global Multisource Strategy. You will assess compatibility, analyze datasheets and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and project requirements.

Responsibilities include conducting component comparisons, performing validation activities, documenting results, and aiding in engineering change

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in electronics or related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in electronics development, validation, testing, or related engineering tasks.
• Ability to read/evaluate electrical schematics and datasheets.
• Familiarity with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, logic analyzers.
• Basic familiarity with Xpedition or similar software tools.
• Proficient English for technical documentation and communication.

Responsabilidades

• Support technical analysis, validation, and evaluation of alternative electronic components as part of the Multisource Strategy.
• Analyze electrical specifications, datasheets, application notes and other technical docs.
• Compare components to assess compatibility with existing designs.
• Assist in identifying technical impacts of substitutions.
• Execute validation and verification activities under guidance of senior engineers.
• Support lab testing, functional testing, and electrical characterization.

Your role

The Junior Electronics Validation Engineer will support the technical analysis, validation, and evaluation of alternative electronic components as part of the organization's global Multisource Strategy. This role involves assessing component compatibility, supporting validation activities, analyzing technical documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure component alternatives meet quality, performance, and project requirements.

• Support the technical assessment of alternative electronic components and suppliers.
• Analyze electrical specifications, datasheets, application notes, and technical documentation.
• Perform component comparison activities to evaluate compatibility with existing designs.
• Assist in identifying technical impacts associated with component substitutions.
• Execute validation and verification activities on electronic components under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Support laboratory testing, functional testing, and electrical characterization activities.
• Document test results, observations, and technical findings.
• Participate in root cause investigations related to component performance or validation issues.
• Collaborate with Hardware, Systems, Quality teams during component evaluations.
• Support engineering change activities related to component replacement initiatives.
• Maintain technical documentation, validation reports, and component evaluation records.
• Ensure compliance with internal engineering processes and applicable industry standards.

Your profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in electronics development, validation, testing, or related engineering activities.
• Basic understanding of electronic components such as:
• Microcontrollers
• Power devices
• Sensors
• Communication interfaces
• Analog and digital circuits
• Passive components
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and component datasheets.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
• Basic troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Basic familiarity with Xpedition or equivalent software tools.
• English proficiency for technical documentation and communication.
