A global development company in Puebla is seeking a Junior Electrical Test Specialist. Responsibilities include maintaining test benches, conducting electrical tests on vehicles, and troubleshooting issues. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in a relevant field and over a year of automotive industry experience. Intermediate English and knowledge of CANBUS and ECU control units are required. Competitive compensation is offered.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree required in relevant fields.
  • Over 1 year of experience in the automotive industry.
  • Experience diagnosing electrical faults in vehicles.

Responsabilidades

  • Maintain and document test benches/test vehicles.
  • Adapt, commission, and use Vector CANoe simulation for testing.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.

Conocimientos

Diagnosing electrical faults
Knowledge of CANBUS
Experience with ODIS
Intermediate English

Educación

DESCRIPTION

  • Maintenance, updating, and documentation of test benches / test vehicles
  • Adaptation, commissioning, and use of Vector CANoe simulation for test benches
  • Testing of vehicle interconnection
  • Evaluation of measurement data
  • Execution of bench and vehicle tests for electrical/electronic systems
  • Execution of software update tests on control units
  • Execution of bench tests for quiescent current and vehicle instrumentation to obtain electric current and voltage readings
  • Troubleshooting of hardware and software for vehicles and test benches
  • Documentation and management of identified faults

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor´s Degree in Mechatronic, Automotive Mechanics, ElectricalEngineering or related.
  • Over 1 year of experience in the automotive industry
  • Experience diagnosing electrical faults in vehicles
  • Required knowledge of CANBUS, ECU control units, and CANoe
  • Knowledge of CANalyzer (preferred)
  • Experience working with ODIS
  • Intermediate English.
