TPE de México, S. de R.L. de C.V. is seeking an Engineering Support Specialist based in Mexicali, Baja California. This role is crucial for providing engineering support across manufacturing projects, as well as handling change requests and aiding new product introductions.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and have strong problem-solving skills. Proficiency with simulation tools and effective communication are essential to this position.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Moderate knowledge of all products and industry-related products.
• Strong understanding of all aspects of the design process.

Responsabilidades

• Provide support for the manufacturing team.
• Provide engineering support on change requests and new product introductions.

• Business Partnering
• Provide support for the manufacturing team.
• Provide engineering support on change requests (ECOs)
• Provide engineering support on new product introduction (NPI)
• Participate in limited research and development (R&D) activities.
• Provide engineering support in cost reduction efforts.
• Performance, Metrics & Reporting
• Meets assigned deadlines provided by project managers or other members of the team.
• Responsible for communicating some aspects of existing product quality to manufacturing team.
• Responsible for some aspects of new product design quality and design turnaround time.
• Responsible for providing support in achieving new product vitality index goals.
• Responsible for all aspects of risk management and risk mitigation
• Technical owner of electrical aspects of projects

Education/Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.

Experience

• Moderate knowledge of all products.
• High level of knowledge of all productsand industry-related products.
• Strong understanding of all aspects of thedesign process.

Hard Skills

• Moderate proficiency in simulation tools: Ansys Maxwell or other magnetic simulation tools.
• Moderate proficiency in simulation tools: Ansys Simplorer or other circuit simulation tools.
• Experience with SolidWorks PDM Professional.
• Proficiencyin Microsoft Office tools.
• Technicalknowledge of engineering design processes.
