Milwaukee Tool in Mexico is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support cost-saving projects and generate ideas. You will work with PCBAs, use an oscilloscope and lab equipment to diagnose failure modes, and collaborate across functions on multiple projects.

A BS in Electronic Engineering is required; experience with PCBA assembly and testing, basic C/C++ programming, and knowledge of design software (SolidWorks/NX).

• Bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering or related field with direct electronics/PCBAs experience.
• Experience with PCBA assembly techniques and troubleshooting using lab equipment.
• Basic programming in C/C++ and familiarity with electronics design software.
• Strong cross-functional communication and ability to thrive in high-performance environment.

Job Description:Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide Electrical Engineering support to save cost projects and generation of ideas.Use laboratory test equipment, like an oscilloscope, to diagnose the failure modes of production PCBAs.Use critical path methods, impactful communications, and cross functional collaboration to manage numerous short and long duration projects to success.Milwaukee Tool is a global organization. Travel several times per year is expected to maintain a strong knowledge of the business and to work with Electronics suppliers.Education & BackgroundBachelor of Science Degree in Electronic Engineering. Can have other Bachelor´s Degree but need to have direct experience with Electronics and PCBAs.Engineering experience: PCBA assembly techniques and troubleshooting with laboratory equipment (oscilloscope, DMM).Basic Programming C, C++.Knowledge on Design Software. (Solid Works, NX, or similar)Knowledge on Electronics Design software.Must be a good cross functional communicator and thrive with a high-performance environment.Background in any of the following is a plus: portable electronics, power tools, motor controls, power electronics and power supply circuits, consumer electronics, or instrumentation and measurement systems. Microcontroller circuits (8/16/32 Bit) power electronics, automated test fixture development.Should enjoy being a hands-on engineer – we’re a power tool company!English.
