Vestal Corporation in Mexico seeks an Electrical Designer to develop electrical drawings and reviews. Responsibilities include creating detailed electrical designs, coordinating with lead engineers, and producing panel layouts and I/O schematics.

You will prepare 1-line diagrams, power/lighting/site plans, and grounding plans while ensuring code compliance. The role requires an associates or technical degree and up to 5 years of experience, with strong software skills (Revit, AutoCAD, MS Office)

Formación

• Associates or technical degree is required.
• 0-5 years of experience is required.
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code and other Building Codes is preferred.
• Strong computer skills, e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and prepare detailed electrical engineering and construction installation drawings.
• Consult with lead engineers and review project shop drawings for design accuracy.
• Develop control panel drawings consisting of PLC panel layouts and I/O schematics.
• Electrical design deliverables include electrical one lines, power and lighting plans, electrical site plans, area classification plans, & grounding plans.
• Develop Revit and AutoCAD 3D & 2D models.
• Apply thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code and other applicable building codes to design projects.
• Analyze mechanical and process designs by reviewing P&IDs & general arrangement drawings.
• Comply with Company’s Quality Control and Project Management procedures.
• Promote a positive working environment in order to achieve the organization’s goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
