Ardebili Engineering, an international MEP consulting firm with a Hermosillo office, invites an Electrical Designer to contribute to construction documents and coordinate with engineers across disciplines, working toward senior roles and cross-border project delivery.

You will design power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems, develop documents in Revit MEP and AutoCAD, perform electrical calculations, and ensure NEC/NFPA/NOM compliance for MX and US projects.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–8 years of electrical design experience in an MEP consulting or engineering firm.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD; BIM coordination a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, and low-voltage infrastructure for MEP projects across scales and sectors.
• Develop full construction documents in Revit MEP and AutoCAD, including single-line diagrams, panel schedules, riser diagrams, and electrical floor plans.
• Perform load calculations, voltage drop analysis, short-circuit calculations, and photometric studies.
• Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, structural, and architectural teams throughout design and construction phases.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, NOM, and applicable local codes for projects in Mexico and the United States.
• Participate in design reviews, client coordination calls, and construction administration (RFIs, submittals, site visits).
• Collaborate actively with engineers at the U.S. headquarters and contribute to cross-border project delivery.

The opportunity

We are seeking a driven and technically sharp Electrical Designer to join our MEP team in Hermosillo. You will contribute to real projects from day one — developing construction documents, coordinating with engineers and other disciplines, and growing toward a senior or project engineer role. This position offers direct exposure to U.S. project standards and international best practices, putting your career on an accelerated track.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a closely related field
• 3–8 years of experience in electrical design within an MEP consulting or engineering firm
• Proficiency in Revit MEP and/or AutoCAD; experience with BIM coordination is a plus
• knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and/or NOM electrical standards
• Strong understanding of panel schedules, one-line diagrams, conduit routing, and equipment coordination
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams
• Bilingual (Spanish / English) — strong English reading and writing skills required for U.S. project coordination
