Job summary

Labs Guadalajara is seeking a hands-on engineer to select and test sensors and edge hardware on-site, ensuring robust data collection for our platform. You will design power and communications on the ground, bringing reliable signals to the system ontology.

You’ll collaborate closely with founders, work directly with real hardware, and contribute to products that operate in real-world environments, with immediate production impact.

Qualifications

• Electrical or electronic engineering degree, finished or near finished.
• Experience with real hardware.
• Some coding experience or willingness to learn.
• Willingness to work on site.

The physical world enters the model through sensors, cameras and electronic equipment. In Labs you decide which signal to measure, with what equipment and how it reaches the platform reliably.

The role

• Choose and test sensors and edge hardware.
• Design power and communications on site.
• Bring reliable signals to the platform.
• Connect what is measured with the operation inside the ontology.

Your first 90 days

• Day 30

  You learn Labs, computer vision and the current equipment.

• Day 60

  You design the instrumentation for a case.

• Day 90

  A data point you instrumented feeds an agent's decision.
