Job summary

ROME U? Romeu, a leading multinational logistics company, seeks a transport operations professional to coordinate terrestrial transport, assign units, and monitor shipments to ensure high client service levels with full visibility throughout the operation.

Join our team to manage carrier quotes, load procedures, invoicing validation, and billing for ground-only services using DIDAT, while maintaining accuracy and timely communication with customers.

Qualifications

• Open cases by entering operation data into the DIDAT system.
• Coordinate with transport carriers according to client quotes and load instructions.
• Monitor shipment status and notify the client of status and arrival.
• Ensure receipt and validation of carrier invoices for payment processing.

Responsibilities

Coordinación de transporte terrestre, asignación de unidad y monitoreo constante que aseguren al cliente un buen nivel de servicio, brindando la visibilidad y atención necesaria durante toda la operación.

What will your functions be?

Asignación de unidades de acuerdo con la solicitud de transporte de los clientes, buscando acorde a las cotizaciones del cliente las opciones de transportistas, una vez que tiene elegido al transportista se pone de acuerdo con él para cargar la mercancía, emitiendo una carta de instrucciones. Una vez en firme el movimiento hace el monitoreo de la unidad para dar aviso al cliente del estatus de su embarque y dar aviso del arribo de su mercancía. Asegurar la recepción de la factura del transportista, se valida y se pasa a pago al área de cuentas por pagar. Facturar los servicios prestados solo en el caso de que se brinde servicio exclusivamente terrestre, a través del sistema DIDAT para hacerle llegar su factura al cliente.
