Your role at Clorox:
We are looking for an Account Executive to lead the commercial development of our key Wholesale accounts, driving profitable and sustainable growth for the area 1 Nielsen of our categories and brands in the market. This role is based in Tijuana.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate closely with the Regional Manager in defining and implementing the commercial strategy and JBP’s for the assigned accounts.
- Execute with excellence at the point of sale, ensuring the development of categories and brands, accelerating growth in volume and market share (A1 Nielsen).
- Define and monitor KPI’s that allow identifying opportunities to gain share, focusing on the Route to Market of the shopper.
- Coordinate the merchandising team to ensure primary and secondary exhibitions, implementing tactical activities that strengthen numerical distribution, weighted and share of space.
- Design short, medium, and long-term plans optimizing the investment of trade funds/reduced revenue in strategic opportunities by category.
- Manage the administration of trade marketing funds, portfolio reconciliation, and recovery, with full adherence to commercial policies.
What we look for:
- Experience in Wholesale sales and customer development, preferably in mass consumer companies within the area 1 Nielsen. Knowledge of one or more of these accounts: Sahuayo, PCZ, Duero, and Salimex.
- Negotiation skills and ability to build strong and long-term relationships with clients.
- Excellent communication and influence skills for strategic decision-making.
- Results-oriented, with experience in business reviews and KPI management.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with multifunctional areas.
Desirable
- In-depth knowledge of competition, market dynamics, and shopper insights, with the ability to transform information into commercial strategy.
- Advanced handling of market tools, especially Nielsen (Area 1), to design strategic plans by geographic zone.
Academic background
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Formal background in Sales.
