SINBON MX in San Luis Potosí is seeking an EHS Specialist to support Environmental, Health, and Safety activities and ensure compliance with NOM-STPS standards. The role promotes a safe workplace for all employees.

Responsibilities include investigating incidents, driving continuous improvement, monitoring EHS KPIs, coordinating emergency programs, and training new hires and contractors while maintaining waste management and regulatory compliance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• 2–3 years of EHS experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of NOM-STPS regulations and EHS management systems.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive attitude and teamwork.

SINBON MX is looking for an EHS Specialist to join our family in San Luis Potosí. The EHS Specialist is responsible for supporting Environmental, Health, and Safety activities, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, promoting a strong safety culture, and maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for all employees.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and unsafe conditions, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Promote and strengthen the company's safety culture through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and report Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and response programs.
• Conduct EHS induction training for new employees and contractors.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve EHS performance.
• Coordinate occupational health activities and support medical service programs.
• Follow up on workplace accidents and occupational illness cases.
• Monitor the proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
• Coordinate with authorized waste management suppliers.
• Participate in waste reduction, recycling, and environmental sustainability programs.
• Monitor compliance with NOM-STPS standards and other applicable EHS regulations.
• Prepare EHS reports, presentations, and documentation for management.
• Inspect emergency equipment, fire extinguishers, alarms, and fire protection systems.
• Identify and evaluate applicable legal requirements related to Environmental, Health, and Safety.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Management, or a related field required.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of NOM-STPS regulations and Environmental, Health & Safety management systems.
• Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with different departments and promote a strong safety culture.
• Proactive attitude and teamwork skills.
