Job summary

Ford in Mexico is seeking a Cyber Security Data Protection professional to manage DLP operations, analyze data, and tune policies. The role involves developing SQL/KQL queries and using Python or C# to enhance reporting and workflows.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, coordinate with business stakeholders, and support investigations while maintaining data protection standards. On-site presence in Naucalpan is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• 1+ years in a cybersecurity role.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Experience in Data Protection / Information security roles.
• Knowledge in query languages.
• Knowledge in programming languages (Python, VBA, C#).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Triage DLP alerts and perform data analysis and investigations.
• Develop SQL and/or KQL queries to improve DLP reporting and workflows.
• Support integrations and automation via APIs with security tools (Defender, Sentinel, Purview).
• Collaborate with cross-functional and multi-regional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Translate business requirements into deliverables and design feasible tooling solutions.
• Lead DLP rule development, policy maintenance, and breach investigations as needed.
