Role
The Event Technology Specialist Nearshore Contractor plays a pivotal role in delivering high-impact, immersive client and associate experiences across in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats. Embedded within the NACG Event Technology team under Marketing, this role supports the North America Client Group by managing and optimizing a suite of event technology platforms such as Cvent, Goldcast, Bizzabo, and On24.
This position is ideal for a tech-savvy, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about enabling exceptional event experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert for event technology platforms supporting Experiential Marketing Specialists.
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Leadership.
- Support the full event lifecycle: from stakeholder alignment and platform configuration to attendee communications and post-event analysis.
- Manage multi-channel event components including AV, webinars, mobile apps, and digital customer journeys.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment with business goals.
- Execute simulive and on-demand webinars, including pre-recording, scheduling, and live moderation.
- Conduct structured QA testing of platform features and integrations, document findings and feedback.
- Create and maintain SOPs, process documentation, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Analyze event performance and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of experience in event management or a related field.
- Proven ability to manage internal and external stakeholders effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment in moderately complex scenarios.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in event platforms such as Cvent, Bizzabo, PGI, On24, and Goldcast.
- Experience supporting both in-person and virtual/hybrid event formats.
Nearshore Collaboration Requirements
- Time Zone Alignment: Must be able to work partially overlapping hours with Pacific Time (PT).
- Strong Written Communication: Ability to provide clear documentation and asynchronous updates.
- Process Orientation: Maintain detailed SOPs to ensure continuity and scalability.
