Jobtailor is seeking a Diesel/Gasoline mechanic with experience in Scania products to join the workshop team. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections, while ensuring strict adherence to safety standards and workshop processes.

The role requires travel of 25–50% and a background in diesel or gasoline mechanics. You will support technicians, manage work orders, and contribute to continuous improvement in maintenance practices.

Formación

• High school, preparatory or technical degree completed.
• One year of experience in a similar role.
• Diesel and/or gasoline mechanic background.
• Knowledge of Scania products and services.
• Familiarity with DOS, DCS, SRS, SHE standards.
• Willingness to travel 25–50%.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine repairs to vehicles and components.
• Support technicians with vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure safety standards are followed in the workshop.
• Communicate completed work and deviations to the workshop manager.
• Start and finalize work orders and stamping of completed tasks.
• Check and retrieve tools and parts from the warehouse for service tasks.
• Apply work methods and maintenance information to tasks.
• Conduct visual vehicle inspections and manage deviations.
• Improve processes by proposing and following up on solutions.
