Jobtailor in Mexico is seeking a skilled Diesel/Gasoline Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance and repairs, following Scania standards. You will support the workshop, manage tools and parts, and ensure safe, compliant operations.

Responsibilities include starting and closing work orders, inspecting vehicles, communicating deviations, and contributing to continuous improvement within the workshop. Strong safety focus required.

Formación

• High school, preparatory or technical degree completed.
• 1 year in a similar position or apprenticeship.
• Experience with diesel and gasoline engines.
• Familiarity with Scania products and services.
• Knowledge of DOS, DCS, SRS and SHE standards.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure customer satisfaction through preventive maintenance tasks while learning the profession and developing skills for more complex maintenance and repairs.
• Support technicians with vehicle maintenance or repair.
• Guarantee correct stamping of work performed.
• Communicate completed work to maintain workflow in the shop.
• Check availability of tools and parts and retrieve from the warehouse.
• Start and finalize work orders and prepare vehicles or components.
• Perform visual inspections and manage deviations.
• Search for information in the system and propose solutions.
• Follow up on improvement plans and ensure workshop safety standards.
