Job summary

Zurich Capability Center is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join a global team delivering and maintaining the CI/CD toolchain across the Americas region. You will operate and improve CI/CD infrastructure, respond to incidents, and embed security practices throughout the pipeline from a hands-on, collaborative posture.

The role supports a hybrid work model and may be based in CdMx area or Guadalajara (WeWork Landmark).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or a CI/CD-focused engineering role.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and DevOps principles
• Strong communication skills — able to work effectively with both technical and non technical stakeholders
• Collaborative, team-first mindset with the ability to work across distributed global teams
• Excellent written and spoken English

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain DevOps infrastructure and services, ensuring availability and SLA compliance
• Respond to incidents and alerts within defined SLA targets, performing root cause analysis and implementing permanent fixes
• Manage and support CI/CD pipelines, including troubleshooting, configuration, and optimization
• Perform security scanning and vulnerability assessments across DevOps services and pipelines
• Onboard new projects onto the DevOps platform and provide ongoing technical support to platform users
• Implement tool customizations and configurations based on team and stakeholder needs
• Maintain runbooks, escalation guides, incident records, and internal documentation
• Coordinate with global teams, ensuring comprehensive status transfer and continuity of service
• Ensure adherence to DevOps processes, standards, and best practices

DevSecOps Engineer

At Zurich, technology is at the heart of everything we do. The DevX & DevOps team is a global center of excellence responsible for delivering and maintaining the DevOps toolchain that enables engineering teams across the organization to build, test, and ship software with speed and confidence.

As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will be part of a collaborative global team, working alongside peers in Barcelona and Hyderabad to ensure continuous, high-quality service delivery for the Americas region. You will play a hands-on role in operating and improving our CI/CD infrastructure, responding to incidents, and supporting platform users — all while embedding security practices throughout the pipeline.
