Thales is seeking a DevOps Systems Engineer in Cuernavaca to develop, deploy, and support platforms built on OpenStack, Kubernetes, Cassandra and Elasticsearch. You will solve complex issues and understand multi-system solutions across cloud technologies.

Key responsibilities include deploying HA solutions, automating deployment pipelines, and contributing to CI/CD processes while maintaining monitoring and upgrades for customer platforms.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems engineering or similar field.
• At least 2 years of experience in cloud database administration, deployment, configuration and migration.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (B2).

Responsabilidades

• Define, architect, and deploy high availability solutions using Cloud Technologies.
• Define, develop and maintain deployment and operation scripts and tools for deployment automation.
• Understand pipeline definition and automation for building, validating and deploying the platform to work on CI/CD.
• Maintain Solution and Database monitoring solutions.
• Responsible for Solution platform deployment, installation, patching, and third party software upgrades on internal and external customer platforms.
• Participate in technical design review and strategic decision making.

As a DevOps Systems Engineer you will develop, deploy, and support/operate the platform based on Cloud Technologies such as OpenStack, Kubernetes, Cassandra, Elasticsearch. Furthermore, you will solve complex technical issues, understand whole solutions including different systems and technologies for platforms running in multiple software systems.
