Job summary

Tonder is building payments infrastructure for Latin America. We’re seeking a DevOps Engineer to own, automate, and continuously improve the platform, focusing on reliability, observability, and self-operating systems.

You will drive AI-driven automation across deployments, incident detection, and operational workflows to reduce manual toil. You’ll own infrastructure end-to-end, including rollout, validation, monitoring, and continuous improvement, with emphasis on scalability, redundancy, and

• Strong experience operating production infrastructure on AWS.
• Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, observability, monitoring, and incident response.
• Strong scripting and automation skills.
• Experience with high-availability and high-throughput systems.
• Ability to debug complex production and infrastructure issues.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, networking, reliability, and scalability.
• Advanced use of AI coding and automation tools as part of your daily workflow.
• High ownership, urgency, and the ability to go beyond the task assigned to solve the broader problem.

• Improve deployment safety, recovery processes, scalability, redundancy, and infrastructure performance.
• Turn recurring incidents and manual operational work into automated systems.
• Proactively identify reliability risks and infrastructure bottlenecks before they become incidents.

Tonder is building payments infrastructure for Latin America.

Our core infrastructure is already built and running in production. We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to own, automate, and continuously improve it.

The focus is not maintaining infrastructure manually. We want someone who uses AI, automation, and strong engineering judgment to make our systems increasingly reliable, observable, and self-operating.

You’ll follow infrastructure projects all the way from implementation to production stability.

What you'll own
