albo is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team. You will enhance our Internal Developer Platform (Keymaker) and boost Developer Experience by integrating AI into CI/CD and enabling self-service capabilities for engineers.

You will work with Go/Python/JS, Kubernetes, and GCP to scale our platform, streamline the SDLC, and deliver secure, rapid deployments across internal teams in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE role.
• Strong software engineering skills with experience writing code in Go, Python, or JavaScript/React.
• Deep understanding of GitOps principles, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and infrastructure provisioning.
• Hands-on experience with GCP cloud services.
• A passion for Developer Experience and making engineering teams faster and happier.
• Experience integrating AI tools within engineering workflows is a plus.
• Results-driven with attention to metrics (DORA) and DevEx KPIs.
• Excellent communication and ownership mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Actively develop, maintain, and scale the Internal Developer Platform (IDP), including private proxy endpoints and metadata for microservices.
• Identify friction in the SDLC and create automated, self-service GitOps workflows to remove bottlenecks.
• Champion AI-assisted tools to optimize CI/CD, automate code reviews, and generate infrastructure scaffolding.
• Build and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines to enable high-speed, reliable deployment of applications.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to promote a culture of extreme ownership and seamless delivery.

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team. Your primary customer is our internal engineering team. You will focus on significantly improving our Developer Experience (DevEx) by building and evolving our Internal Developer Platform (IDP), known internally as Keymaker. You will be instrumental in integrating Artificial Intelligence into our development workflows to boost productivity and building self-service capabilities that allow developers to ship code faster and more securely.

What you'll be doing at albo:

• Platform Engineering: Actively develop, maintain, and scale our Internal Developer Platform, leveraging technologies like React, Go/FastAPI, and GCP (Firestore, Cloud Run, GKE) to manage private proxy endpoints and index microservices metadata.
• Developer Experience (DevEx): Identify friction points in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and create automated, self-service GitOps workflows (e.g., via Bitbucket PRs) to remove bottlenecks.
• AI Integration: Champion and leverage AI-assisted tools to optimize CI/CD pipelines, automate code reviews, and generate infrastructure scaffolding.
• Automation & CI/CD: Implement, maintain, and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines (incorporating modern tools) to ensure reliable, high-speed delivery of applications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development and QA teams to foster a culture of extreme ownership and seamless continuous delivery.

About you and the type of skill you'll need:

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE role.
• Strong software engineering skills, with experience writing code in Go, Python, or JavaScript/React (to contribute directly to our IDP).
• Deep understanding of GitOps principles, container orchestration (GKE/Kubernetes), and infrastructure provisioning.
• Hands-on experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) cloud services.
• A strong passion for Developer Experience and identifying ways to make engineering teams faster and happier.
• Experience integrating and leveraging AI tools within engineering workflows is a massive plus.
• Results-driven approach, utilizing DORA metrics and DevEx KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication skills and an extreme ownership mindset.
